Meet Karolinka — a 12‑year‑old warrior fighting cancer
Kochani, we introduce you to our newest little fighter — Karolinka Mazurek, a brave 12‑year‑old battling a rare and very aggressive sarcoma.
Today, the most urgent need is to continue the treatment that is giving her a real chance.
Her parents write:
**“Karolinka is taking a medication that works so exceptionally well that doctors in Heidelberg decided not to stop the therapy — even though this is normally not done during treatment. Her tumor is extremely rare and very aggressive… One thing is certain: this medication stops its growth and gives her a real chance.
Unfortunately, the cost of treatment and repeated trips to Heidelberg is overwhelming. This is the only path we have. We hold on to hope — because it’s all we have.
